Maya Sharpe is multi-passionate maker and thinker.
Maya's passion lies in exploring simplicity in humanity through composition. Using this tool to demonstrate there is more of a connection and love between everything than the politically derived disconnect and hatred.
Kevin Carillo is a theater director/choreographer. He is Co-Director of UNCENSORED at MCC Theater, an annual devised production with NYC teens. Awards/Fellowships: William R. Kenan, Jr. Fellowship at Lincoln Center; the 2019 Director Assistantship at Williamstown Theater Festival; Directing Fellow Pool at Manhattan Theater Club; lead artist residency at the Mercury Store. He apprenticed with Ivo van Hove at Internationaal Theater Amsterdam on Gevechten en Metamorfosen van been Vrouw by Edouard Louis. Education: BFA in Drama from University of North Carolina School of the Arts (Kenan Excellence Scholarship); MFA in Theater Directing from Columbia University under the guidance of Anne Bogart, Brian Kulick, and Katie Mitchell.
Ana Evans is a theatre maker, actor, and teaching artist originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She graduated from University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a BFA in Acting and has since pursued the places where her love of performing, making theatre and teaching co-exist together. Presently she is inspired by and passionate about sex education, the gender spectrum, and making mistakes.
Tony Jenkins is a North Carolina born/Brooklyn based actor, playwright, clown, musician, and poet making art at the intersections. With a love ethic driving their creative exploration, Tony has performed in works presented at Soho Rep, The Shed, Bushwick Starr, Movement Research at Judson Church, and Clubbed Thumb to name a few.
Lauren Karaman is an actor most recently seen at Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival as the Nurse in R&J and Jenny in Mr. Burns, A Post-Electric Play. Off-Broadway: The Belle’s Stratagem (Red Bull Theater) Film: Release (Amazon) Television: Catch Lauren as Kinsley in Queens Bird Film’s upcoming series Kinsley Vs. As a model, Lauren has walked in NYFW, worked for top designers, and was one of the first series regular curvy models on Project Runway. Owen Laheen is a non-binary actor and theatre-maker from Wicklow, Ireland. Their most recent credits include Mutt (Sundance 2023, Berlinale 2023); Off-Broadway: Belfast Girls (Irish Repertory Theatre); Regional: The Wolves (McCarter Theater); TV: City On A Hill (Showtime). They hold a BFA in Acting from SUNY Purchase, and also trained at BADA and UNCSA.
Zak Ma is a NY-based actor and physical theatre artist aiming to transcend into the universality of the human experience to liberate and connect people of all backgrounds. He received his MFA Acting at the Actors Studio Drama School, and is a member of a Butoh theatre company RenGyoSoh. He loves devising original work, The Intermediate & Ikigai, and traditional plays, The Seagull (Trigorin) & True Nature of All Being (Hiroshi). ruth tang writes plays & poetry and makes weird internet experiments out of Brooklyn, NY. Their play FUTURE WIFE was selected for the 2022 Theatertreffen Stückemarkt in Berlin. Currently they are a member of the New Georges Jam and Ars Nova's Play Group, and have been part of Clubbed Thumb’s Early Career Writers' Group & NYTW’s 2050 Fellowship. They’re also under commission from Long Wharf Theatre + NAATCO and a recipient of the Sundance Institute Interdisciplinary Program Grant. Billy McEntee is a Brooklyn-based writer. As a journalist he’s recently written for The San Francisco Chronicle, Observer, and The Brooklyn Rail, where he’s theater editor. Tom Mezger is an actor and improvisor based in Brooklyn, NY. Tom was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. He recently appeared as Mr. Collins in Clementine Players’ Pride and Prejudice and as H in the Atlantic C5 production of Twelve Ophelias. Other NY credits include: Pip's Island, Heydays (Brouhaha), and PoHa (UCB). Tom is a founding member of Clementine Players and was its first artistic director. Jules Geiss (They/Them) is super excited to be choreographing and performing! They have recently been seen in the First National Tour of Cats as Mungojerrie, and have been in regional productions of Newsies and A Chorus Line. Marisa Tornello is an improviser, vocalist, performance artist, poet, mover, and maker from and based on Staten Island. Marisa cultivates an artistic practice that explores the art of living scores and thematic development through the dual lens of trauma and healing. Their works have been shown at Roulette (2022 Commissioned Artist), the Tank, Jack, La MaMa ETC, Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Vital Joint, Invisible Dog Arts Center, and Judson Church, and have been featured in the Flame Keeper series with Metropolis Ensemble, the Exponential Festival with Pioneers Go East Collective, and Ladyfest at the Tank. www.marisatornello.com
Xander Browne is a queer Black comedic playwright/director/composer based in Brooklyn with a degree in Directing from Columbia University. His musical W a t c h M e was workshopped with NYTW at Adelphi University in 2022. His work has been heavily featured in 54 Below's "Make Them Hear You" Concert Series. Recently, his music has been featured at The Brick’s New Work Festival and in Torn Out Theater’s Antigonick. You can hear his music in Ars Nova’s 2022 ANTfest “The Apostle Peter and His Lover John, Also an Apostle” available for streaming.
Daphne Always is an artist based in New York. She's primarily engaged in cabaret, music, writing, and acting. On March 16, she's beginning a run of her show By a Thread with collaborator James Sheppard at the Laurie Beechman Theater.
